Privacy Policy

Overview
This policy explains what information Cubora collects when you play, build, and connect on our platform, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. We keep this document plain on purpose - if anything here is unclear, reach out and we'll explain it.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run Cubora:
- Account details - your username, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
- Profile content - your character, bio, friends, and the worlds you create or favorite.
- Gameplay data - which experiences you visit and basic session information, used to power recommendations and moderation.
- Device & log data - IP address, browser type, and crash reports, used for security and reliability.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we use it
- To run your account, sync your character, and connect you with friends.
- To keep Cubora safe - detecting abuse, spam, and content that breaks our rules.
- To improve the platform and recommend experiences you might enjoy.
- To send account, security, and (if you opt in) product emails.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate Cubora (for example, hosting and email delivery), and only under contracts that require them to protect it. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our players.
Children's privacy
Cubora is built for a wide audience, including younger players. Where required, we ask for a parent or guardian's consent before creating an account for a child, and we limit the data we collect from young players to what's needed to play safely. Parents and guardians can contact us at any time to review, correct, or delete their child's information.
Your choices
- Access, update, or download your data from Settings.
- Turn off product emails from the link in any message or in Settings.
- Delete your account - and the data tied to it - from the Danger zone in Settings.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfect; if we ever detect a breach that affects you, we'll notify you promptly.
Changes
We'll update this policy as Cubora evolves. When changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
